Best Way of Using Dry Shampoo

Hello my beautiful people today, hope you all are very well!
Today i came across an conversation with a friend regarding dry shampoos. A friend of mine asks me why my hair looks clean without been washing it for a few days. I told her the very secret of mine was.....dry shampoo, but she told me she could not achieve the same results as i did. Therefore, i decide to share my tips and tricks with you all. Hope you all find it helpful.

No girls and guys should be ashamed in using dry shampoo just because it is advertised for people who does not wash their hair which it might meant to everyone that we are some lazy people. We as in many girls and guys out there that are busy with college or work that we don't have the time to spare to wash our hair for the next day or water has stopped that there's no way of showering. Regardless of the reason, the invention of dry shampoo is one the best things had happened in the last few years, at least for me. Well, let's stop the rambling and start with how i think it's the best way to use dry shampoo.

Hair Type:
I have super thick, dry and oily hair (combination hair type). My hair would become oily within half a day after washing so now you have a fair idea of my hair type.

How I Would Use Dry Shampoo:
I know many people would only use dry shampoo when they needed to example: in the morning, but after using it for years i realized that dry shampoo works the best when you slept in with it overnight, so here's how i do it:

Before i would go to sleep and prepare my hair to be in an acceptable non-oily look for the next day, i would spray a ton and i do mean a ton of dry shampoo all over my hair especially onto the roots and massage it for a minute or two. This would help to absorb all of my oils that is currently in my hair and also prevent it from getting oily. Then i would jump into bed for the night with the dry shampoo in my hair and DO NOT brush your hair after putting dry shampoo on.
After a good night sleep, i would spray some (just enough) on my hair and some on my roots and massage it.This is all done before you wash yourself. After teeth brushing and face washing, you can then brush the dry shampoo flakes off your hair. VIOLA! Your hair would be nice and matte and fluffy which prepares you in for styling your hair if you needed to.

Dry Shampoo Brand:
I believe any brand works the same so this method can be used with any brand of dry shampoo. However, i love using the Baptiste original formula dry shampoo. Since i had tried many brands range from low end to high end and different scents from Baptiste, i still find that the original Baptiste works the best with my hair.

Friendly Reminder:
I do not recommend to use this product often since it will clog our pores which may lead to complications in the future. At the end of the day, they are still chemical products which may be harmful to us if we 'consume' it often. So please use it when you feel you really need to or else, spare 5 minutes of your time out to wash your hair which would keep yourself away from harmful chemicals.

Till next time!

Hope everyone likes it and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone

Skincare Routine

Hello my lovely subbies,

How are you all? People always wonder what I use everyday to keep my skin clear of acne.
Here is how I do my daily skincare routine.

P.S. I am a combination girl (super oily on the T-zone and super dry on the cheeks)

If I have makeup on that day I would use the Banila Co Clean it zero to take off all of my makeup.

Then follow by using Neogen Bio Peeling+ Gauze Peeling Wine to exfoliate away any dead skin. I wouldn't recommend it to use it as a daily exfoliator since its not gentle enough. This can be used every third day or twice a week

I would then use the Neogen Real Fresh Foam Green Tea cleaner to clean away any impurities left on my skin either from makeup or from the exfoliator.

*Those are real green tea leaves at the bottom of the cleanser*

After washing my face, I would use the Beauty Water by Son & Park to remove any residues on my skin. This beauty water exfoliates he skin as well. So I would not recommend to use this product after exfoliating your skin.

Then hydrate it with my favourite toner 90.89% Rose Water Toner by Mamonde

*It smells amazing and it is super hydrating*

I love to have paler skin than I currently have so I would add a brightener serum in my routine. The Power 10 Formula VC Effector and the Power 10 Formula WH Effector by It's Skin are to be used together to maximise the brightening effect.

Last but not least, I love to have super hydrated skin, so I would be using the H20+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment. I had been using this for over 10 years and I still love it.

Hope everyone likes and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone

Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer EH-NA65 Review

Hi Everyone,
Today I would like to share with you my game changing hair tool. As you can see in the title, the Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer is a game changer for me. I was born with hoarse, thick and frizzy hair. Never had pretty hair since I was young and I spend a fortune in keeping my hair nice which lasts only for a day if lucky two. My bad hair day ended when I invested in this hairdryer. This hair dryer does not dry out my hair but it adds moisture into every strand of my hair (well...that's what is claims to do) but I do feel that my hair is softer and is smoother than using a regular hair dryer.
I never liked to blow dry my hair since it makes it more frizzy and I get a headache from it regardless of how many types and brands of hair dryers I had used. However, this Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer not only solves my hair problem but also it does not give me any headaches. So this is a great plus for me. I will now give you some pros and cons and my verdict of this product.

Description:
"The Panasonic EH-NA65-K895 Hairdryer offers superior nanoe technology which supplements the hair and scalp with additional moisture, preventing dryness and maintaining smooth, shiny hair and a healthy scalp.
With a powerful 2000 watts, 3 speed and heat settings, cool shot and long 2.7m power cord, the Panasonic EH-NA65 Hairdryer effectively meets your everyday requirements. The hairdryer also comes with a condenser nozzle, diffuser and a quick dry nozzle for fast, efficient drying."

What I like about it:
Firstly, It does not dry my hair out and makes it super shiny (natural glow)
Secondly, Immediate results from it claims to do
Thirdly, Pretty looking hair dryer
Fourthly, Comes with 3 different nozzles: Condenser, diffuser and quick dry nozzle
Fifthly, Powerful watts and long cables
Last but not least, It's available for purchase in store (boots) in Ireland, forgive me my international readers but I'm sure you can find it on Ebay or Amazon

What I don't like about it:
Firstly, It's heavy, like really heavy.
Secondly, It's expensive for a hair dryer..like 160 euros
Thirdly, Lose the amazing effect after using it for a long period of time, but its still works good.
Last but not least, After using it for some time, the matte finish of the hair dryer becomes 'glossy'.

My Verdict:
I personally think its worth buying this hair dryer if you have some extra cash in hand to spend. I had been using this hair dryer for almost 3 years and it stills work perfectly fine and good after such a long time. Overall, its an amazing hair dryer and I believe I would repurchase it after it dies (hopefully not anytime soon).

P.S. If anyone wants to hear opinions from others, you can click onto the link here to decide whether you would want to buy one or not.

Hope everyone likes and enjoys it.

Beauty Tip- Baby Powder Tricks

Hello everyone!
Don't you ever have experienced that you paid a fortune for a product and it doesn't work?!
Like thicken your eyelashes products?

Here's a list of things that Baby Powder can do for you better than any other products out there:

1. Thicken up your eyelashes by dusting with baby powder before you apply mascara. The powder will act as a primer, giving you fuller lashes without the falsies.

2. Out of your favorite dry shampoo? Sprinkle some baby powder underneath the top layer of hair at your roots to absorb excess oil. If you have dark hair, mix the baby powder with cocoa powder. For red hair, mix in some cinnamon. Finger through your hair to evenly distribute throughout and you’ll be good to go.

3. Before you go running — or before you step outside on a hot summer day — put some baby powder in between your thighs to prevent chafing.

4. When you’re finished shaving your legs or underarms, shake some powder onto your skin. The cooling, drying effect works as an amazing aftershave, leaving you feeling fresh.

5. During a hot summer night, put some baby powder on your back before heading to sleep and you’ll be cool and dry all night long!

6. Using a large powder brushset your makeup with baby powder once you’re finished. Make sure to only apply a small amount to keep it as translucent as possible. The powder will also work to absorb any excess oil, keeping you from looking too dewy.

7. Are you a DIY waxer? Apply baby powder to the area of skin you’ll be waxing before you begin. The wax will be better able to grab your hairs, and your skin will be soothed by the cooling effect of the powder.

8. Use baby powder under your arms as a deodorant. It’ll absorb perspiration happening, plus leave you with a fresh scent.

9. Before you’re going to wear sneakers or other closed toed shoes without socks, sprinkle some baby powder into them. The powder will take care of any sweat (and therefore odor) that may happen. You can also sprinkle the powder into them post-wear to keep the fresh smell for the next time you pull them out of the closet.
10. Use baby powder on face before threading, this can diminish the pain of getting your facial hair/ eyebrow threaded and also reduce skin irritation, Baby Powder will cool and calm the skin down.

Hope you guys find this useful!

Hope everyone likes and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone

Favourites of the month August Edition

Hiya!
How are all of you's keeping?
I just realized that i have not done a fav of the month, so i've decided to do one now. I actually have quite a lot of items that i really like and have been using for the past month or so. They are the following:

Sulwhasoo Evenfair Perfecting Cushion (Refill)

I always heard great things about this foundation so i went ahead and bought only the refill, as its quite pricey to buy the case and the refill. The refill itself is already 23e (ebay) and the case is around the same price as well. Also, the refill fits perfectly in my IOPE cushion case which i have used up the product so i just slot the Sulwhasoo refill into the IOPE cushion case. I love this cushion, it provides good coverage and has many benefits in it, since Sulwhasoo is famous for their skincare. Therefore, its great for the skin.
If you like me to do a review on this cushion, let me know down below! ;)

Marc Jacobs black and sea-cret pencil eyeliner

This is my absolutely favoruite eyeliner for the past month. It doesn't budge on my waterline (which is very hard) and it lasts for the longest out of all the eyeliners i've used, even my past favourite the rimmel scandalous eyeliner. It retails for 25e at Sephora over in Milan.

Christian Louboutin Lipstick in Bikini
                Flashlight                                   No Flashlight

I splurged heavily on a 80e lipstick and at first i hated it, i thought its too thick and smells much like plastic which was absolutely disgusting to my sense.
I left it in my drawer for a couple of weeks and as i was clearing my stuff out and i decided to give it another try since its an expensive item to give away. I LOVE IT! I dont have a clue what i did differently that i would like it now and not back then. I love the color and it lasts for a good while. What i most love about this lipstick is that it doesnt transfer on my teeth. Ive never came across a lipstick that does not leave me to suck on my thumb (to prevent lipstick transferring). I think im going to buy more of these lipstick. so stay tune!

Bioderma Makeup Removing Micelle Solution

I know I know! This had being raved about for a long time, but this wasnt available in Ireland until now, so i took the opportunity to purchase this when i spotted it in my local chemist (boots). Absolutely in love, change my world with taking off my makeup. Its not drying nor irittate my skin. I've tried other brands of the miceller water and none compare to this. I finally understand why this was raved about so much. I got this in a set of 3 with sizes of 500ml,250ml,100ml for the price of 310HKD=approx 31e

Prori Aroma Ac Moisture Gel Mist

If you have been reading my blog posts you should have seen this been mentioned in my memebox unboxing post. I've tried many face mists and none of them moisturize my face that well as the Prori one. This is a gel mist and it comes out a bit thicker than normal face mist but its not tacky or sticky. It feels really good on the face. Would recommend anyone who wants a moisturizing face mist. However, the only complain i have for this baby here is that its quite big, not travel or handbag friendly. If they have a smaller version i would totally buy it. It retails for $24/20e

DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum

This is a game changer product for my stubby, short Asian lashes. I would apply this before my mascara, it would lengthen my lashes and curl them without the need of a curler. After using this product i stop reaching for my Koji eyelash curler as it wasnt needed. Anyone who has the same type of lashes as me, should definitely buy this product. Promise you its worth the money. It retails for 22e

Etude House Eraser Show Remover Bar

As many of you had experienced a bad day with the wing eye look or some transfer of mascara onto the eyelid-this is a life saver, it is a cotton bud fill with makeup remover in the center. its easy to correct any mistakes and easy to carry around. So loving it. It retails for 8e

Blithe Patting Water Pack-Rejuvenating Purple Berry
I love this product. It smells divine and it leaves my skin soft, but it leaves some sticky feeling to it but not alot, so its fine. It claims to remove dead cells, deliver moisture and nutritions. Can't tell about the removal of dead cells but deliver of moisture and nutritions definitely happened. This is a must try item!

Hope everyone likes it and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone

Balenciaga Studded Leather Billfold Wallet in Red Review

Hi Everyone,
As you can see the title today is review on the Balenciaga Studded Leather Billfold Wallet. This is actually a mens wallet, but who cares..its gorgeous i dont care. Anyway....I saw this in the men's department and the minute i saw it i knew i had to bring it home. It was retail for 195e in Brown Thomas, there was only 2 colors available: red and black. However, if you go onto the Balenciaga online store there are far more colors available. I wanted the green one but red or black was the only option in Ireland and all other colors has been sold out on the online store, so i did not return the red one and kept it.

"Balenciaga's black billfold wallet is finished with covered studding that lends it rebellious appeal. It's kitted out with ample slots and note compartments to keep all your resources at the ready, yet still maintains a profile slim enough to comfortably slip into your back pocket."

Depth2cm
Height9.5cm
Width10cm
Black matte-leather (calf)
Two bill pockets, six card slots, two compartments
Made in Italy
Comes with a dust bag

Here are some pictures of the wallet:

What I like about it:

Firstly, Love the style; wallet with studs

Secondly, the color is vibrant and its the perfect red that i like

Last but not least, its real leather. I love real leather products so its a plus for me that my wallet is a leather wallet.

What I don't like about it:

Firstly, the price. The price tag isn't too bad but would have prefer it to be more affordable since the leather isn't high quality leather.

Secondly, the leather is too hard, that its always pop open when i have some cards in it. Also, its quite difficult to slide the cards into the card slot as you would need to put some pressure and force it in for the first time.

Thirdly, it didn't come with a dust bag as stated on the website. So i went back and ask for one but they said it didn't come with one and i didn't want to argue and make a big scene out of it for just a dust bag, so i left it.

Fourthly, For some reason the wall of the wallet has become sticky all of a sudden. I firstly thought the stickiness was transferred from the money notes onto the inner layer of the wallet. After given it a thorough clean and left it to air dry. It still remain sticky. Regardless of the numerous times i tried cleaning it with water or some mild soap it still remain very sticky. Not sure why that happened, i assume that the inner layer had melted during one of the hottest days in Ireland, which was the day i found out that the walls were sticky. Also, e-mailed Balenciaga twice about the wallet but still have yet to hear from them.

Last but not least, It doesn't fold perfectly. I am a perfectionist so not being able to fold it perfectly parallel would drives me nuts. So i tend to not look and pay attention to it as there's nothing i can do about it.

Overall, Even though there are more cons and pros but i still love this wallet and will purchase this wallet if my current wallet issue was solved. However, I have still yet to hear from them, not asking for any compensations but I would like an explanation why this has happen to the inner walls of the wallet. However, despite with my wallet issue i would purchase it in another color if they re-stock the other colors such as green or orange.

Hope everyone likes it and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone

Alexander Mcqueen Padlock Tote (Small) in Black with Gold Hardware

Hi Everyone!
Today I am not going to talk about cosmetics or skincare, but share a handbag that i purchased and loving at the moment. I recently purchased my first Alexander Mcqueen handbag at Brown Thomas.
Here's some pictures of the handbag:

I took the keys off the bag since i dont like the keys hanging on my bag and it was hard to put it back on so i didnt bother..lol :P

On the Brown Thomas website it says:
"The Padlock Tote Small from Alexander McQueen will add a hit of edge to your handbag collection. Instantly recognisable as a McQueen piece with its padlock in the shape of the brand's hallmark skull, the bag has been created from a black textured leather. Versatile styling options are made possible with its top handles and detachable strap, while the generously sized interior with its array of small pockets make keeping things organised easy. A covetable focal point for casual and on-duty looks alike."

"Textured leather, two top handles, detachable adjustable strap, gold-toned hardware, skull padlock detail, two way zip fastening.
Interior: textile lining, zip pocket two slip pockets.
Dimensions: H 21 x W 30 x D 17cm. Handle drop: 15cm. Strap drop: 55cm."
This handbag has become a permanent piece so it can be bought anytime in your local luxury department store.

What i love:
Firstly, the leather are super soft, which i love. Even though its a small size bag but it can fit alot of stuff in it, which is a plus! This could be due to the fact that the bag is shaped in a square shape.
Secondly, it comes with a lock and a key, the lock its in the shape of a skull. They come in silver or gold hardware and i chose the gold as i personally thinks that gold goes well with black than silver.
Thirdly, the zip is quite uniquely made, as the starting place to unzip the bag is at the center of the bag and not at the side which makes it easy to zip and unzip the bag. But also, it makes it easier for thefts to unzip the bag and steal things.
Last but not least, i like the length of the strap which can be used as crossbody or shoulder bag.
Now onto what i dont like:
Firstly, the price, its a whopping price of 965e, i dont think the bag is worthy for the big price tag.
Secondly, the leather is too soft that if i carry heavy things in it, the sides of the bag will stretch which causes the bag to lose its shape.
Thirdly, the bag isn't a true black, it looks more like a dark dark grey to me, not sure is it just the one i bought or its like that for all of the small tote bags of this range from Alexander Mcqueen.

Fourthly, the lock is quite heavy which is pulling the front of the bag down, but this can be solved very easily by putting it on when i need to use the bag. When the bag is not in use, the lock will be taken off.
Last but not least, the bag itself is quite heavy so i tend to have aching shoulders after using it since i love carrying a lot of things with me when i go out, which makes it extra heavy.
Overall, i do love this bag, but just wished that that bag wasn't as heavy as it is now and the leather hasn't stretch. Would i repurchase this bag, probably not but will definitely purchase another Alexander Mcqueen bags as their products are totally my-style for everyday fashion!

Hope everyone likes it and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone

Kildare Village Haul

Hey guys!
I recently went to Kildare Village to have a little browse around. If you do not know what Kildare Village is; its basically a big outlet of all brands. Example: Coach would have a store there and they would be selling last season or further back season for a huge discount. Over in Kildare Village there would be Coach, Furla, L'occitane, Tommy Hilfiger, Superdry, Ted Baker, Mulberry, Calvin Klein, All Saints, Juicy Couture etc.........

I havent been there for almost a year so i went with my friend who also havent been there for a long time too. we browse around and i got 2 items there; one from Juicy Couture and the other is from Jack Wills, and they both are not for me!

One of my cousin who had moved to England for a level 8 degree course and i know he is a fan of Jack Wills items so when i saw this jumper i bought it immediately. Also, this jumper was just 12e! It was such a bargain! Im sure he will love this.

I saw this key ring and i immediately thought of my younger sister. I was sure she will love this so i went ahead and bought it for her too. It was 24e. it wasnt bad as its really nice and feels really good quality too. So i didnt hesitate and purchase it.

I did see something i like, but i didnt want to purchase it since i already have a new purse; my current purse is a lilacy purple Pual Frank long purse. The one i saw at Kildare Village was a purse from All Saints which is one of my favorite brands. There was 2 that i taken a like to, but first i couldnt decide which one to get, second i already have a new purse so i gave up on purchasing them.

Hope everyone likes it and enjoys it.

Have a nice day everyone
